what's New?????

What is new? Now that is a good question..... What has everyone been up to might be a better one...

I'm sorry I just haven't kept up with my blog and maybe one day I can be like some of those that get on here every day and have something to post. I'd love to hear how things are going and what you are all up to.

wow how time flies...

Is everyone ready for Valentine's Day? Ok I'm doing a class at my place Feb. 2 from 3-7pm just drop by during this time and make 6 cards. We'll be doing Valentine and all occassion cards.

So I've got to get my card ideas together and paper cut. Just got to be ready for the workshops that will are going to be popping up right after the class. But there are always room for more so if anyone wants in let me know.

What do you think of this? A friend got it in a swap and I just love the way they did cold play with no face and the carrot going straight up..

All the goodies she got were from a swap she was in on splitcoaststampers. It's been a while since I've been in a good swap so I might just have to check them out over there. Now here is the famous pig that paints. He has been on Oprah, Regis and Kelly and I can't remember where else... but now be honest. Would you really pay for a painting like this go do your own?????? This pig has his own brush and everything. lol

Well, Christmas is just around the corner and then we head out the next day for Missouri I've got 3 books to pick from and Amanda just wants to see you boy friend. So I guess the parents get the chance to meet as well. But seeing as the clock says 3:30 I think I'd better go off to bed... and that is pm not am.... night...oops morning

Book mark... a little extra gift for that big reader on your Christmas list

Elegant Bookmark

This would make a great addition to that book you were planning to give for Christmas. Some genius on SCS came up with it; I take no credit! It's made using the gorgeous satin ribbon from the Holiday Mini. I used Chocolate Chip. I recommend starting with 12". I folded each edge over twice (using Sticky Strip) to prevent fraying. Each end has 2 scallop circles punched from Brushed Gold cardstock. For the other piece, I stamped Baroque Motifs in Chocolate Chip onto Shimmery White cardstock. Then I sponged Creamy Caramel on it to make it beige. Everything is stuck down securely with Sticky Strip so it will hold up to use.

Thanksgiving is gone again for another year

The big question I have is where has the time gone. I can't believe that November is almost over. I went and did my craft show after Thanksgiving and it was a very full day. We'll just have to see if any of the contacts are good. I think I have a workshop on the 10th of December.
and hopefully I'll have some new class mates.
Well I was going to add a picture here but it doesn't want to let me do it... sorry guys.
I'm not sure how much I'll be around this week as my friend in Virginia died and I'm headed
that way. We know that she has gone to be with the Lord and is at peace.

I'll be doing this class. It's $12. without my frame and $15.00 with my frame... So come and put together your family and have fun figuring out who is who..

My frame is a 5x7 but if you have a really big family, I do have 6x12.... I'm not sure if I'd want to do my sister's and brother's. There are 10 of us.... Call me or email and have so fun....

I guess it's time I try and get something new going here...lol
